No One Knows Me Like You Releases October 4
“‘No One Knows Me Like You’ was inspired by the truth that God sees and knows everything about me and still loves me,” shares Caleb Yetton, a worship leader and pastor at The Rock Church. “He sees the worst of me—my doubts, my sins, my fears, my questioning of His plans, my rebellion—and He sees the guilt and shame I still sometimes carry when I think about my past. Despite it all, He loves me. In fact, He loves me more deeply than anyone ever could.”
“There are two messages that I hope resonate with listeners,” Yetton adds of the title-track and overarching theme of the EP. “First, we are fully known by God and fully loved. Because of the love and grace of Jesus, we have a home in Him, and we drink the Living Water that quenches our thirst for belonging. Secondly, we are not alone in feeling misunderstood, unknown or insecure. As we have played ‘No One Knows Me Like You’ in our worship services and unpacked the idea behind it, people are impacted by the message. The enemy would have us believe we are the only ones who are messed up or lonely, but that is not true. We all need Christ’s love to heal us.”
The No One Knows Me Like You EP also showcases two originals penned by Caleb & Kelsea Yetton and led by Kelsea—“Holy Savior,” an intimate, low-fi worship ballad, and the impassioned “Revolution Medicine.” Rounding out the project, The Rock Music delivers signature renditions of renowned favorites “All Hail King Jesus” and “You’re Beautiful,” songs with deep meaning to the collective’s Salt Lake City congregation as well as the Yetton family.
“Walking through the loss of Kelsea’s mother to cancer contributed to the perspective of the EP,” Yetton explains. “It has been a season of wrestling with doubts and questions about God’s plan and thinking about Heaven and about what we are living for and giving our lives to right now. That’s why we wanted to include familiar songs like ‘All Hail King Jesus’ and ‘You’re Beautiful,’ which have not only been staples in our worship sets over the last few years, but they speak of Christ’s promise of eternal life; the joy of worshipping Jesus in Heaven; and proclaiming Him now as King of Heaven and Earth.”
“The heartbeat of The Rock Music has always been to feature artists within our collective who represent a variety of styles and allow them to bring their own background and approach to the music we release,” explains Steele Croswhite, pastor and worship leader at The Rock Church. “We see this variety as a strength, and this uniqueness among our artists also offers excitement for our local church, in terms of both community and worship.”
